About me

Hello there! I'm Brian, a passionate 2nd-year software development student at the Bit Academy in Amsterdam.
With an international upbringing that spans multiple countries including Indonesia, Singapore, Hong Kong, South Africa, and the UAE. I have been fortunate enough to have had the pleasure of immersing and embracing myself within several diverse cultures, incorporating their values into my own personal and professional life.

Front-end development captures my heart, combining creativity with problem-solving abilities. I am passionate about creating visually stunning and user-friendly web applications with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. I am competent in modern frameworks such as React and Vue.js, also leveraging CSS frameworks such as Bootstrap and Tailwind CSS for seamless, responsive, and intuitive designs.

With a keen eye for design and a knack for wire-framing and prototyping using tools such as Figma, I bring an emphasis on user foucued experiences to every project. By creating mockups, I provide my clients with a visual representation of the product. This approach allows me to gather useful and informative feedback, which I can then incorporate and build upon to refine and improve the overall user journey.

Moreover, I have experience working with Scrum and Agile methodologies, promoting effective teamwork, adaptability, and iterative development to deliver successful projects.

Beyond technical skills, I pride myself on my strong communication and teamwork abilities, enabling effective collaboration with colleagues and clients. I believe that my problem-solving mindset and attention to detail allows me to tackle unique situations and deliver high-quality results. I'm always open and passionate about learning new technologies, and expanding my skill set to stay at the forefront of the rapidly evolving world of software development.
